Future Relics explores the insignificance of human knowledge in a post-human world. A world in which our robot companions once created to provide us aid eventually supersede us, held back by their inability to learn and the basic knowledge we bestowed upon them. They eventually die out, left to be reclaimed by nature. This piece asks what happens when the robots who once commemorated the human race die with no one left to commemorate them?
After the fall of the WHM (the Wellness for Humanoid Machines department) and the eventual extinction of humanity, the companion robots are left grappling in a world with no guidance. Navigating active threats that were also created by the late human race and a significant lack of spare parts, they fought for survival as nature gradually reclaimed them and post-human world around them.
